Good day the honorable members of this great forum,
We are working closely with some Japanese companies and their representatives on the exportation of Nigerian cocoa beans and it bi- products to Japanese market.
We held a meet with these representatives from Tokyo in our office yesterday and we concluded as follow:
1. To look out for major cocoa farmers.
2. To look out for major cocoa dealers/processors.
3. Determine the annual crop harvest and production from each farmer and production from each cocoa products processor/manufacturer.
4. Each of their crop/product should be traceable to them.
5. Determine the certification they have for their cocoa beans or cocoa products.
6. Determine the pesticides used in the farming of their cocoa beans.
In view of the above and in order to help Nigerian cocoa farmers and work closely with other major dealers, we require from cocoa farmers and dealers on this forum to provide their responses to the above stated points, so as to make the exportation of thier cocoa beans/products easy from Nigeria.
You can also pass this letter to anyone you know it can benefit.
The farmers/dealers that will be short listed we be invited to our office for further planning.
