Any Company interested in international trade to go into export of goods in Nigeria, MUST register as an exporter and obtain an Export Certificate with the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC). The NEPC is an Agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria that deals with the facilitation and promotion of non-oil and gas exports. The Agency is responsible for the registration of new and existing exporters as well as regulating all the activities carried out on exports. Required Documents for Registration. The Registration is done through the NEPC e-registration portal or by visiting the nearest NEPC office for assistance , There are certain documents required for the registration process, these documents depend on the business entity: Documents of the Limited Liability Company: Certificate of Incorporation (issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission) Certified True Copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association. Current Certified True Copy of From CAC 1.1 – “section C” (Particulars of Directors). This is formerly known as: Form C07 or Form CAC 7. Cooperative Society Documents: Certificate of Registration (issued by State Ministry of Commerce, Local Governments and Federal Capital Territory Area Councils) Bye Laws of the Society Documents of Governmental and non-governmental Organisation(s): Certificate of Registration (issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission) Constitution of the Government Organization and non-Governmental Organization.
