Perfume is a fragrant liquid typically made from essential oils extracted from flowers or spices, aroma compounds, fixatives and solvents etc used to give a pleasant smell to one's body.
Global Market for Perfume
There are growing opportunities for producers and exporters of perfumes especially to African countries and on the European market, essential oils that are used for making perfumes are well accepted, as these oils are used as fragrances in both natural certified and conventional, non-certified cosmetics.
You will find good opportunities for natural fragrances in Europe especially. Europe is the largest market for natural fragrance ingredients and will continue to be an important driver for the global demand for natural fragrances.
However, some of the European countries mainly act as re-exporters and can be interesting traders to get your fragrances on the European market.
Developing countries play a relatively large and growing role in the supply of fragrances, supplying 45% of the total European imports in 2016.
