Fruits are generally a good source of minerals and vitamins and serve as a cleansing agent for the body helping in purifying the blood and its vessels as well as makes digestion easier and better. Also there are ailments like cold that can be treated by taking fruit juices in their natural form.

Citrus seeds can be used as sweetening agents, which are already being used as sugar substitute. Citrus peels can be used for the production of citric acid, lactic acid, feed yeast and vinegar.
