Coffee is typically a part of many people's day, regardless of their location. It is considered by many to influence the body and state of mind, thereby generally influencing a person's daily activities.
Little wonder coffee is described as ‘the favourite drink of the civilized world.’
It is widely consumed by many people across the globe and has been ranked as the most international export commodity after petroleum.
Coffee (Coffea Arabica) is a beverage crop which originated from Africa where it was initially exported to other countries of the world.
Nigeria has been a onetime large producer of coffee in Africa. The producing states include Kwara, Bauchi and Osun.
Coffee Arabica is widely grown than its counterparts and has less caffeine and tastes better than Robusta that has a burnt-like taste, and contains about 60% more lipids and almost twice the concentration of sugar than Robusta
Arabic coffee represents about 60-70% of the coffee industry in the world. It is made from coffee beans roasted either lightly or heavily from 165 to 210 °C and cardamom, and is a traditional beverage in Arab culture.
This coffee is defined by the method of preparation and flavors, rather than the type of beans. Arabic coffee is boiled coffee that is not filtered, made black. Sugar is not typically added, but if so, it can be added during preparation or when serving.
Most countries throughout have developed unique methods for brewing and preparing coffee to make it come out better.
