Good day,
Let me ask again, do you have export structures? But I have, to a very high degree and am very sure many Nigerians do not. Your export structures should guarantee you some level of certainty in your export planning and execution.
1. You should be able to source quality products with some level of certainty.
2. You should be able to access needed funds with some level of accuracy.
3. You should also be able to get reliable buyers with some level of confidence.
4. You should have the Know-How of the product(s) in question.
5. You should have good logistics.
Out five items listed above the most difficult for many Nigerians is ITEM NO. 3, GETTING RELIABLE BUYERS.
I just finished talking to a lady who was sharing her experience with me, on the trial order of charcoal she just sent to Dubai about a week, she had agreed with her buyer to get paid only when she has sent to the address of the buyer final documents and the buyer have received and confirmed that consignment is okay.
The structural question is that, she wouldn`t have agreed to this if she has a better offer. She is doing export in frustration and taking unnecessary risk, if she has put a structure that can generate reliable buyers contacts in place, she will have peace of mind doing her business.
Would you love to leverage into our structures especially in the area of accessing reliable overseas buyers` contacts then join us at Sheraton Lagos Hotel.
Thank you.
