The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) has won the best exhibitor award at the just concluded Trade and Investment Exhibition held in Beijing China, a statement from the council said.
The exhibition which was held between 10th to 14th July, at the China National Convention Centre in Beijing, was organized as part of the 19th Annual General Meeting of shareholders of the African Export-Import Bank (AFREXIM) and hosted by the Export – Import Bank of China.
Receiving the award on behalf of the NEPC, the Minister of State for Finance, Alhaji Yerima Ngama, commended the efforts of the council and stressed that the quality of products exhibited boosted Nigeria’s image and will strengthen existing trade relations between Chinese businessmen and their Nigerian counterparts.
Commenting on the award, the leader of the NEPC delegation and the Director (Special Services), Mr. Olajide Ibrahim thanked the organizers,adding that the award was the fruit of hard work, dedication and commitment of the NEPC towards fulfilling its
mandate as a trade promotion agency.
