Cocoa is one of the main crop exportable from Nigeria before the discovery of oil in Nigeria. At present Nigeria is ranked the 5th largest exporter of cocoa and its by-products in the world.
There is huge future potential for cocoa exportation because of the large land mass we have in Nigeria and the Federal Government readiness to support the industry through various initiatives through the Nigerian Export Promotion Council.
Major Producing States in Nigeria:
Ondo, Osun, Cross River State, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti,,Kwara, Akwa Ibom, ,Abia, Edo, Ogun, Kogi, Delta, Ebonyi, Rivers States.
Major Buying Countries:
Netherland. Uk. USA, Belgium, Spain, France, Germany, Japan, Barbados, India, China etc.
Packaging for Export:
Usually packaged in clean jute bag.
Cocoa Beans By- products: Cocoa Butter, Cocoa Powder, Cocoa Cake, Cocoa Liquor etc.
Standard Specification:
Foreign Matter - 2% Maximum.
Moisture Content - 7.5% Maximum.
Size - Not more than 12% outside the range etc.

Our Current Activities:
We are currently working with an Indian company to source for 5,000 metric tons of cocoa beans this season. We can also source cocoa cake and cocoa powder. The above pictures show some of our field activities.
